My weird Final Fantasy XI Story O,o

Ok i need to tell this somewhere, because I dont know of any other place to tell people about it (mainly because all my MSN freinds went to bed)

I went out of my home kingdom of windrust, the most isolated of the three kingdoms in FFXI, to go hunting in the canyon to the north. I get to the canyon and start hunting like normal, Im level 15 now, then a bunch of level 14s and 15s band together and invite me to go to some place called bubumisu peninsula, the monsters there are INCREDIBLY though, i mean, WHOH one hit and they lob all your limbs off tough... and acting as a group (of 18 people) we were able to knock the monsters (particularly goblins) away one at a time.

Anyway, one guy suggest we go down to this beach, which really freaked me out but it WAS a peninsula... Anyway, the party only managed to kill 10 monsters and nobody leveled up, I learned that this was the beach where Summoners get the Sacred Ruby which helps them to Summon in the begining of the whole Summoning class-quest thing... Anyway, I got bored sitting on the beach, and apparently a bunch of evil ghosts were going to come out at night, so I decided to walk along with this Gaika-fellow who semeed very strong but he was a level lower than me. (Gaika are HUGE bodied) Anyway, so I follow him to this dock thing, and I'm bored so I decide to get on the boat

next thing I know the boat is attacked by pirates and I hide in the maintenance room...

anyway, the boat made it thanks to some high-level folks on board who just blew those baddie pirates away with their swords, guns, and sword guns... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Anyway, so I reach the port and I walk onto a beach that is SO big its considered a DESERT, I should point out that NO players are on this desert/beach, so I figure it's got to be interesting, I keep wakling and wakling, through cave after cave, then Im in a forest of palm trees all of a sudden and next thing I know, BAM I'm at the CRAG of freakin' Bal. Now in FF Terms, the Crag of Bal is almost as far away from the Crag of Mea is. I should point out that the Crag of Mea is located in the Canyon where I was originally hunting, I litterally went around the entire world to the other side... Decing to keep on goig I found I was in a whole 'nother kingdom all-together! AND NOBODY THERE knows ANYTHING about Windrust, my kingdom, like I'm some kind of Alien or something...

Anyway

thats all I wanted to say for now... I guess im too tired to realize that I am as far away from home as I can possibly be.... Now i just have to find some way to get back... hhee... the easiest way is asking a mage to teleport me to the Crag of Mea, but HEY! Now I can ask mages to get me to the Crag of Bal!

Look out, FFXI, I'm now able to traverse the entire world! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I started wakling at about 7 and around 11-12 ish I was on the other side of the world...

It should be poitned out that I qualify for riding chocobos (which would have cut this trip down to an hour) but the system is messed up, making you have to be level 20 to get a liscence, I hope they fix that some day [img]tongue.gif[/img]

see, this is the kind of experience I would imagine having in a MMORPG. Just getting swept away into the world, into an adventure.

Just installed this today for myself and my wife, the only issue we are having is the fact that were not on the same server, know of an easy fix for this ? or are we sol ?
