I may be getting JAK II for my Birthday from my Wife, so does anyone have it yet? Is it good? I hear you can actually make the game go into progressive mode as well as 16x9!! True? Gemme the scoop!

I don't have an Xbox, but is DnD Heroes any good? It LOOKS awesome in the screenshots I saw.. Is it coming out for the PS2??!

D&D Heroes looks a lot like Gauntlet, so I suppose it would be an OK game.

I've heard nothing but good reports regardeing D&D Heroes. My boss says it's sort of like BG: Dark Alliance done correctly.

As for Jak II, I have a friend I'm talking to right now that says he enjoys it quite a bit. It's very much more difficult thatn Jak & Daxter, though, so beware.

RPG's don't really translate that well into consoles IMHO. They really turn into hack n'slash, with quick 'power-ups' taking the place of spells and detailed abilities since you are limited to a joypad only. Mind you, this is not a bad thing as sometimes this is exactly what you need after years of 'point and click'.
