Diablo II... Hate it or like it?

So? What do you people think about it (including the expansion)? I only like for brief periods of time, then I get bored with it... It's very linear... Quite fun in multiplay... But very repetitive....

We could have our own debate! Any arguments for it/against it?

I'm sure many people on this forum hate the game but I love it. I don't think that any game other than Wolfenstein 3d has immersed me so much into it. I've spent countless hours playing and replaying this game over and over again and I still find it fun. Single player sometimes gets boring but multiplayer never does for me. Every multiplayer game I've played has been great fun. And that's my two cents...

I hate it because it has no save function, I hate it because there's many people ( almost 95% players ) who used duped/hacked/bugged items. I hate it because if you don't use any elite item people will call you noob. I hate it because lots of people use map hack or pindle bot or meph bot or any kind of bot. I hate it because it got lots of pkers. I hate it because people only want a rush and don't play the game normally. I hate it because it's hard to get any elite item even in hell mode. I hate it because it lags ( especially the dreaded Lister lags ). I hate it because it's hard enough in hell and Blizzard still want to make it harder. I hate those MSLE monster. I hate this game sooooooo much that I still play it until now. grrrr..

I neither hate it nor love it. It's a good game but it never appealed to me.

Diablo 2 was great when if first came out.

And then hacks were out three weeks later and it was Diablo 1 all over again.

I played it for fun a couple of times, but I couldn't be bothered with it. I really really fell asleep because of those voices. The movies were ok though [img]smile.gif[/img]

I play it way to much that its boring and i still play cause i have nothing better to do.... :| the game is far to easy i never die unless i duel and dueling is so useless now cause to many hacks out so probally gonna reinstall icewind dale2 this week.
