Hi
has anyone played gothic 2 yet? is it any good? I played the first one and thought it was pretty fun, not too complicated good story line. I dont like games that are just incredibibly hard.

Gothic 2 is great.

For some reason I liked the first one a little more, just because the story was really out of the ordinary for an rpg. Gothic 2 is a lot more conventional fantasy story.

Its very similar but the graphics enviornments are better and its much larger.

There are three 'camps' and a seperate story for each, and a main story for all of them.

Played it completed took about a week FAR to easy if you ask me, I a few good choice from the start and you unbeatable for the entire game!! I was killing orcs in chapter two with two hits for peats sake!!! Cleared the pass too.. Far to liner as well, even being a mage is easy if you play a little. Far to wasy to get money in it as well.

Thought Gothic 1 was better, even if it had the same kinda liner-ness issues.

Just got the game a couple of weeks ago. Damn good game if you can get used to the control. IMO, the old control set is still my favorite.

I have finished the game with Paladin, level 35+. Now playing as Mercenary in Chaptor 2. Once I have finished that, I will try out as Fire Mage.

This game is as fun as Gothic 1 (which I have finished with all possible guilds/houses)
