All right I got Star Craft yesterday, and I have a problem with the custom games, whenever I want to do an allied game it says "Use map settings" or whatever, so I do and all computer players disappear and I can't play and ally game!What do I have to do?

The custom game is for you to build your own campaigns, that is a way to build MODs from a blank screen so your best bet is to read the instruction book cover to cover and then play the games that come with starcratft first to get to know the game better. then check the Starcraft on line site for mod Help. Good Luck!

No no I want to play custom games as in NON mods!(Or campain) like, the Free-For-All mode

Maps that ask you to use Map Settings are generally maps that were designed to be played with OTHER HUMAN PLAYERS over battlenet. To the best of my knowledge, none of the default custom maps have the AI ally with you.

Use map settings maps are also used for user-made missions and campaigns. That is what triggers are for.

Set it too play as a Free for all or melee if you feel brave in the custom maps menu.
