I have been playing Grandia II a lot, and I am almost at the game of the game, but there is one thing I don't understand.
Every time I beat a boss, I get a message that say "Upgrade available". What is the meaning of this? I saw no way to upgrade anything in the game...

Its for Millenia. She can learn the bosses specials as her special moves, or sometimes you get books or eggs to spend the coins on. At least thats how I rember it.

Spend your skill/magic coins. I never realzed about these for a while, and was still using low level moves for a while.

I've been hearing alot about Grandia2 lately. So I decided to check out the website, which didn't really gave me much info.
I know its an RPG, but is it for the PC? |

There is a pc version, that's what I have.
As for the upgrade thing, no it's not about my skill/magic coins. I have been spending those since I started the game. I really don't know what it's all about. I get that message every time I beat a boss. Does anyone else get that message?

strange, in my game I never got the message ( if I still remember ). did you check everything? book, egg , magic , skill ? or maybe the character learn a new move from the boss?

No it's not moves, I maxed everything. All books, eggs, moves,...
I wish I had a savegame just before a boss. I would post a screenshot of it.

Ok... I loaded up my savegame just before the last boss, hoping I would get the message from killing him, but I didn't. It would have surprised me too.
Then I loaded up anolder savegame, completed a whole dungeon, had to wait for all the text to go, the fight start with the boss, and the game crash... I'll try again tomorow when I am not downloading at the same time. [ 11-14-2002, 11:00 PM: Message edited by: Luvian ] |
