Starwars: Knights of the Old Republic

Normally I am very sceptic towards games that use movie franchises in their titles. But Bioware's Knights of the Old Republic looks real great:

Starwars universe, RPG, 3-peep party, play as either Dark or Light side,...

I wish I knew more about character development, is it skill based or class based? And so on. I tried to check bioware's forum but the threads are more concerned with which colors the lightsabers are than the gameplay.

Edited: Ok it appears that kotor uses the D20 system. A kind of D&D for Starwars system. The classes being Soldier, Scout, Scoundrel, Jedi Guardian... the prestige class Bounty Hunter and so on. Still wonder if they will be using (Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha) for attributes and what the feats and skills will be if any.

Anybody familiar with the P&P Starwars RPG ?

From the trailer the game sure looks good. Too good to be true in fact... check out the forums, plenty of weird topics and questions.
