Ok I never found out what the rad scorpion limbs, you pick up in Klamoth are for, You know the two scorpion pincers/claws with the leather straps and buckles on. Is there a use for these??

Im only asking as I have just started playing the game again.

No use whatsoever. Toss 'em, can't even sell 'em.

Well, you could always use them yourself and pretend to be a radscorpion. Or maybe not.

JR Jansen is right--they are one of a handful of useless items in the game.

I'm replaying it as well, and its so incredibly buggy that it really -no pun intended- bugs me.. I've had to restart so many times from previous saved games and so many areas and quests are impossible to finish because of bugs that its getting really annoying..
SPOILER

Sorta like how Cassidy attacks me everytime I tell him to leave the party, so I have to kill him before going to the Enclave. And how the guard thats supposed to open up the forcefield gates in the NCR doesnt do that, so I cant get out of this one area.. damn thats annoying.

Are you sure that they ARE bugs? You ARE supposed to be able to do stuff that prevents you from completing quests and such.

Also, try to take a look for any patches, I played Fallout 2 and never had a single crash except for a few near the end which were caused by buggy hardware

I must admit it is an exceptionally buggy game (I really should patch it up before complaining though). Gecko is the worst place for it as my npc's (Cassidy and sulik at the moment) keep attacking the ghouls for no reason, I have to drop them before entering the place

I haven't encountered any bugs (except radscorpions and mantises). However, those idiots who join up with you keep getting themselves killed regularly. Only K-9 and Marcus have managed to keep themselves alive, and that is because I usually make them sit out of various fights.

Except Myron. I needed some source for something to give to Robobrain.

Yes, this game is extremly buggy.
I also got the forcefield bug, it is very annoying. Also, every time I try to steal some shotgun shell and I get cought, the game crash.

I also had some other bugs involving blowing up doors with explosives, to name only a few.

But this game is one of the best rpg ever, and there is a patch available for download. Also, if you look around on the web you can also find a few MOD.

Yeah, its a pity it was released too early. Man I can't wait to see Fallout 3..or maybe even Fallout 3 on a pretty 3D engine. I had this really cool image of blasted skyscrapers and a high-tech world like Final Fantasy or some such.. I had this image of a soldier torching somebody high up on a destroyed skyscraper. The fallout system is just adaptible enough to fit any game world, so it was a huge pity when they cancelled TORN.
You know how everyone, when they hear of a cool game concept, automatically comes up with a certain visual image on how the game should feel and play, that usually is nothing like what the game really is? *sigh*
