killing drizzt and party-spoiler

ok this is a pretty big spoiler almost a sure way to kill drittz party. so if you want to figure out on your own and not use my strategy then stop reading.

ok remember the illithyd hold in the underdark? if you dont its on the bottom right of the underdark and to the east. well whil completing the quest there you use collars to have the illythids open the doors, remember? well i think u are left with 2 extra collars. use one on drizzt during the encounter and if you have time the other on the dwarf. i believe there is no saving throw. almost possitive. then have drizzt and/or the dwarf attack their party members. then use drizzt to kill the dwarf and finally have your whole party team up on drizzt. i did this it was a very easy battle. expecially because they have haste on. but i like to learn my own strategies when playing games. and if this was posted when i couldnt beat him i wouldnt read it until i did. but that's just me. use this post well. post a reply of how u killed drizzt.

so...no one had problems with drittz...or they took my advice and didnt read this...or they read it and didnt post so they felt like they did it on their own o well i dont think its a wasted post.

Don't worry if you don't get responses; just keep your ideas coming. Those collars will work on anything, in case you have a few extra lying about here and there. [img]graemlins/petard.gif[/img]

For a lark, cast it on Jon Irenicus and let him Maze himself.

Cast it on an Adamantium Golem and let's go buddy! [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

The main problem with Drizzt's gang is there's no time for buffing spells beforehand--UNLESS you do a Contingency with "Enemy Sighted" as the condition. That's the only time I'd bother using it.....

If Drizzt's party is so powerful, why don't they have a Mage in the group?

I killed him quite easily with a one sorcerer party.
The standard tactics:
chain contingency loaded with 3*Abi Dalzim

If it doesn't suffice: Time Stop. Summon Planetar...another high level spell and so on.
Didn't even get a scratch.

yeah but that's a high lvl character. drizzt wouldnt be hard if you run around with high lvl mages or highly equiped people. try fighting him when u just get your 7th lvl spell. your limited on your power. he has a fast acting party. yeah ali dalzim is a great spell.

Why would you fight him at level seven.... its virtually impossible to do that....
