The ARENA Grand Champion

Well after 3 days of fighting I beat everybody in the Arena and then fought the
Grand Champion. That was a long fight!! I finally Won with about a Quarter of my
health left or just a little less and that fight lasted almost 20 min.

Well just before fighting him they asked me to chose a name for my Blue Team
Champion and (LOL) as I scrolled down what name came up, but "THE CRIMSON BLADE"
which isn't my game character name. I couldn't resist useing it as my Arena
Champions Name and now it will show up in the Courier News paper as the Crimson
Blade wins Arena Championship! Well now I'm famous in my own mind or at least my
character is. LOL
Now I'm wondering if my buddy that worked for Bethesda had anything to do with
the name being put in the game he does know I use it all over the internet at
diffferent forums and game sites. ??? He moved to Texas and still hasn't called,
so I'll have to find out if he did it or it is just in the game by chance when he
calls next month. Eighter way I just started laughing when I saw TCB in the game.

I unfortunantly found that a (well I think it is)bug made my style of play to easy

As in, If I stealthed and was behind he character, I would shoot them with an arrow, but they would never attack me....

But yes, I thought you would love the name The Crimson Blade I almost chose it myself!

I'm very glad that the grand champion is not the end of the arena too (won't say anymore) but I was very dissapointed with the armor of Valor.

...It made me a little sad that I completed the Gray Prince's quest...Those of you who want the full Arena experience, don't do it!

I fought everybody with an Elven Longsword and never
experence the bug I'm just glad I had a good shield.
I did fight the first match after the Grand
Championship and did the hardest choice, Thank
goodness I had a couple health potions in my quick
keys or I'd be dead meat. As it is I had less than
1/20 of my health left when I headed back to the
Blood pit I think I'm going to need a bigger weapon.

I also was not real impressed with the armor rewarded
at the end of the Championship match considering mine
is better I used it for the match after.
Oh and the match after the Championship wins you over
3,000 septins. $$$$

Oh contrar, Ilander, I htink they *should* do the Arena Grand Champion's Quest at least *once*.

I found it to be quite interesting. And really didn't understand his reaction afterward.

It's buggy for me. She sends me to kill the Gray Prince, I do, I come back, she sends me back for his armor. This is where it gets interesting. He is just standing in the arena, praying for me to kill him, but whenever I damage him, he heals up instantly. The only way I can kill him is to hide behind him and strike for x5 damage with the bow. After that, I take the armor, take it to the old woman, and her dialogue is the same as before fighting the Prince.
How is this supposed to work?

I fought and killed the Gray prince took his sword shield and clicked on him took 200 septas and the
Armor then went down and talked to the old woman.

remember before fighting him to click on the rules
they change when you fight the champion and then
talk to the old woman again then go Fight and kill the Gray Prince and follow what I did above.
I had no bug at all but don't leave the arena without
the armor or you'll cause some wierd bug that you
appear to have caused.
You need to fight him again and this time don't forget the armor and make sure you complete all
the talking to the old woman before you fight him.

That's a nice surprise to have in a game, CB. I could've had a similar surprise after the Everscamp quest in Leyawin (sp?) if i'd stuck with the name i was going to choose, Eidolon. (the name of my second Morrowind character and nearly my second Oblivion character). But Eidolon's been used in other games, i guess, so it's not as special.

Regarding the Arena, how many ranks are there to achieve? My char is still low level (6) and i'm dropping the combatants without much fuss at all. With the level scaling, it could easily spoil the whole Arena thang if i defeat them all before i reach high level only to have more difficult battles with lone highwaymen later on. Don't spoil me, please, but don't let me spoil it for myself either. I'm a "bloodletter" (or something) at the moment. How much further have i got to go?

It somehow resolved itself after reloading... Twice it done that now... strange game...
