[OBV]Thieves Guild...the last one...Spoilers

So, on the last mission of the theives guild, I'm encountering hellacious difficulties...I managed to outrun most of the wraiths in the pre-dungeon, and can kill vampires and skeletons, but Eyelid Guardians and Dread Zombies pretty much own me...

That said, I can get to the door into the Imperial Barracks just fine...I just am found immediately by the guards who proceed to keep me from finishing the quest. On attempts that have involved killing the guards, the "blind" monks don't give me the scrolls, re: the plan...

So has anyone finished this one and come out of it with any words of wisdom? I could use the help!

I got more frustrated with that mission than any other, but only becasue I did not save from the beginning and when I could not sit in that damn reading chair because the monks heard me, I was pissed [img]smile.gif[/img]

So I went back and did the the slow (but right)way....Stealthed

What class are you? if you can't naturally be stealthed (well) go and grab a few potions of invisibility.

If the guards get you right away, you're either not good enough at stealth or not going in at the right time, try waiting if that's the case.

I went in there the absolute first time I got there, guards were asleep but nothing happened, and I easily snuck past the monks, guards and battlemage.

...That's what I was afraid of...horray for crawling back through miles of dungeon! I really do miss Mark and Recall

Yep, my stealth is maybe a twenty-five...it may actually be time for some training in that regard.

...After spending some time boosting my stealth up to the low seventies, I'm happy to report that all I needed to do in the first place was kill the Eyeleid Gaurdians... :S

Oh well, made the rest of the mission DARN easy, although I wish I hadn't had to kill the one person near the very end. Nice reward, too, although none of the guards are interested in taking me alive when I wear it
