And i won't even bring up the Orcish ladies. I mean come on....what's with the round wrinkled faces ? Don't they have plastic surgery there or something ? this begs for a plugin, kinda like the "better faces and bodies" mod from Morrowind.

And why oh why are the weapons that are displayed sometimes in the Fighterguilds completely useless ? I went through a a lot of hassle to open up this very hard lock to get to a Glass Claymore and a Glass waraxe, and both weapons weighed nothing and do zero damage to opponents. WTF is that about ? Is that some sort of bug, or are these items purely for show ? I've found another glass box with a Glass shield, cuirass, and bracers, are they going to be worthless too ?

And why is a Glass sword useless against an ancestral ghost ? I picked a Glass sword of the body of an Orc i killed, and equiped it right away. The first dungeon i ran into i encountered a bunch of ghosts, and after a few seconds of hacking and slashing i found out that Glass swords don't harm them. How different that was in Morrowind. Do i need to put an enchantment on them first, or is Glass overrated altogether in Oblivion ?

Those were decorative items, it say so in their name. My thief was pissed too, that would have been a nice profit.

About glass swords, I didn't test non-magical glass, but I carry a silver dagger around for ghosts and such.

EDIT => And against some enemies (I know ghosts, vampires probably fall in there too), only silver, daedric and magical weapons will harm them.

Well there is this shader problem in this game that makes the faces from the front look totally different than from the side. The shadows of cheeks don't display properly or are designed badly or something, because the shape of them suddenly changes when you turn a characters face around. That's why all the characters, especially the high elfs, look like their faces are bloated.

Yeah. Those items are Decorative only, and are just for show. It really made my elven warrior mad after spending 200gc+ for lockpicks.

But I digress. There are some nice looking ladies in this game. Antoinette Marie comes to mind.

I've been hard at work modding every faces in the game to make them more to my liking. I'm trying to stay with the spirit of the game and staying on the safe side, but I've changed the faces of some of the young people and I've made the old people younger by 5-10 years, so those 60 years old only look 50 and those 40 look 30. I think it's better.

Your headline is slightly wrong, it should be -

It takes roughly 40 clicks on the randomize face and then some 30 minutes to get a face to look like, well anything except a freakshow accident.
This was an area that I didn't like in Morrowind either. I mean, Oblivion is not your average pig-farmer-fantasy setting but you are to save the world. At least you should have the oppotunity to do it in some style.

I still have work to do before I've changed all the races, but I'm working on it.

There's some really messed up stuff in there. Some characters are ugly on purpose like beggars and I'm leaving those alone, but some are ridicullous. The Night Mother of the Dark Brotherhood had a flat nose. By flat I mean no real nose, it's flat as if she ran in a wall, it was just a straight flat surface.
