anything better than dwarven crossbow

I want a better bow/xbow than my dwarven crossbow.It's ugly, and i've had it a long time now, and want a new one.Is there anything better,if so, where can i get it?Also, is there anything better than normal glass armour, I'm a bit bored of that now too, anything special there?

Daedric everything is the holy grail of armour and the Daedric bow is rather special. (Also what you get with the spell 'bound longbow').

I believe that glass armour is the best light armour in the game (excepting maybe some unique items) so if you're a mage or similar character you might have hit a plateau armour-wise.

Ebony armour might be the next step up if you can wear heavy armour though...

now that i got the expansion, there is a man outside of thirsk in Solstheim who says he canmake custom snow wolf and snow bear armour, light and, as he says "best light armour you can find". you have to hunt the wolves and bears yourself though, and its a little costly. and im not sure if it's that good, i havn't gotten it yet. as for the bow, here's what i do, instead of going out to look for the daedric long bow, buy a bonemold longbow, use a good soul gem (best if containing an ascended sleeper or a Golden Saint) and put the Bound Longbow spell on it. my encant skill is at 40 or so, and its a miscellenious skill for me, and i can cast the bound bow for 409 secs at a time, like 10 time a day. plus the bound longbo increases your marksmanship by 10 points, so the real bow wont be comparable to my my special "Demon Bonemold Longbow".

Name some unique light armour please [img]smile.gif[/img] and where do i get this daedric longbow? I might enchant it if possable, but if not then i'll enchant my crossbow not a bonemold bow, the crossbow has 20 damage outright

Auriel Bow got the same damage as a Daedric Longbow. You can find it on a person in Ghostgate.

It is terrible IMO. GLass armor has better armor values than white wolf armor or whatever it is.

IMO Dark Brotherhood armour is the best. It just looks so much cooler than glass....

There is a telvanni mage the runs the corpusorium on an island and in his tower he has this light armor (torso only)
that probably has the best armor rating plus it has 50 percent magicka resistance.

as for complete sets of light armor either the glass or maybe the dark brotherhood are the best.

over all best armor is definately the daedric but finding it takes a while. personally, i just never bothered with getting it since it's really heavy.
i prefer wearing light armor and picking stuff off at a distance with a bow. if the monster/person does get close usually they don't have many hitpoints left to survive more than 2 or 3 hits from me.
