I forgot where i can find it. I know that you eventually get one by defeating Trebonius, but i don't wanna wait that long. I know there's one somewhere in a cave, except i forgot which one. Can someone fill me in here ?

um, or you could just buy it from the guy in wolverine hall, thats pretty much the easiest way to go about it.

yeah, go to the mages guild in the wolverine hall (on the same island as sadrith mora). talk to the guy there about promotion and he will tell you that you need a staff

next he will tell you of a place where you can find one, but he will also tell you about one he has from a recently deceased wizards that he will sell you for about 5000 septims. its a really innefective staff, but then again, they all are. buy it, get promoted, then make your own enchanted ebony staff.

Ineffective ? You can levitate for 120 seconds each click. I wouldn't wanna call that ineffective. I can fly from the the bottom of the map, all the way to the most northern island without touching the ground. It's not that i don't wanna walk, but it's so much easier to fly over high mountaintops than walk around them.

Anyway, thanks for the tip, i'll go check it out.

each staff is different though. but i have a ring of levitation (see my beginner's guide to enchanting items) and that lets me fly any time i want (and it allows me to create a staff which does HUGE damage)

I've never encountered a staff that allows you to levitate less than 120 seconds each turn. This time i bought one from Edwinna. It was indeed 5000 Septims as you said. I don't need it for fighting though, i have my own custom made Daedric dual wield katana's for that. The only time i actually hit something with the staff is when those annoying Cliffracers bug me when i'm airborn. And that's only because i hate to switch waeapons all the time.
