I started a new game. After that i did 2 quests in the "landing site" city i decided to walk to Balmora. I encountered a "slaver compound" near balamora, something that begins with A. (i am really bad with names. ). i killed the 3 slavers (the wizard was a pain in the ***. I hate fireballs.) and freed the slaves. Afterwards i went to pelgariad bought steel longsword, and raided 2 caves. In one i killed Terenu Uverau (i wrote the name down in order to remember). I did not manage to kill his companion, so i left him for now. I als o raided another cave that begins with A. There were lots of Nix hounds there and some humanoids (orc, Dunmer, etc). I killed them all.

Question: where do i get the "blood money" for the slaves and 2 raided caves? what "quest giver" did i miss?

I am now at Balmora, half-way to level 2.

Thanks in advance.

um, not all caves are part of a quest... in fact, most arent. you really should follow my walkthrough on seyda neen. its not hard, just go back via the silt strider (the big bug thing that travels) and catch anything you missed... there are four total things:

(note: HUGE spoilers and north is defined as through town away from the census excise building. if you drew a line from the door of the census building pointing to the bridge over the river in town, that would be how i have defined north. also, do number 4 first, as it will make the loot you sell more worthwhile)

1) find the dead body west of town, take the gold and give it back to the old guy in the census office. accept the quest. talk to people in the city about it, then talk to the lady in the lighthouse about it. then go and talk to the dude about it. tell him he's a dead man, then kill him. go give the ring to the woman in the lighthouse. go get the reward from the old guy in the census office.

2) Go to the north end of town and take the road that leads west. follow it, and in the middle of the road you will see a book, stop and watch the area above the book. a screaming mage will fall from the sky and kill himself. since no ones around, steal all his stuff, sell what you wont use.

3) go into the caves just north east of seyda neen, and directly north of the silt strider... kill the bandits there (four, i think, though maybe three). explore the nooks and crannies, and underwaters of the cave. collect any loot, even stuff hiddin in certain grassy patches. free the slaves and talk to them afterwards to gain experience in speechcraft. sell any loot you wont use.

4) if you havent already, go give fargoths ring to him (he looks a bit like a younger gayer version of legolas from LotR). then go and talk to the dude at the top of the stairs in arrile's tradehouse. take the quest. stand on top of the lighthouse from sundown to sunup, making sure you point your view area towards the green pond with the tree trunk in the middle. go make some tee and wait, this takes awhile. the next morning, go down and take everything from the tree. go to the guy upstairs to get half the gold and keep fargoths ring. why not just keep the ring? arrile likes you better now and gives you better deals on sales and purchases.
