Oh boy...I was wearing Indoril Armor and accidentaly talked to one of the High Ordinators in Mournhold and he attacked me. Well I killed him and now every High Ordinator in the city attacks me on sight. I've never had any faction continue to attack me after I've left the area where the fight took place. I have no bounty on me at all and am generally law-abiding and good. Is there any way to make these guys stop or do I just have to keep killing them for the rest of the game?

Don't you have a save before you actually killed the guy? That way everything is solved quickly and easily

Unless you don't have a save before you talked to them, you are damned forever, just like me. See the I've really did it this time thread (http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cg...;f=20;t=001601). Like you, I had/have a similar problem. THere is no way to fix it. If you are having problems killing them, running and jumping is helpful, provided you have good acrobatics. If not, and you're stuck killing them, drink a sh*tload of sujamma and start swinging. Keep some exclusive restore health handy too.

I belonged to the temple and got kicked out and now the high ordinance periodically attacks me but some don't. I am not useing any of their armor or weapons. They are on an intermittant rampage on me ever since i did the quest from the goddess for her "Missing Hand". Kinda sucks too cuz i had like 3 more shrines to go and would have made the next advancment =\. No i didn't save either. I already used the make ammends thing when i beat this guy sensless with hand to hand at the Winged Guar to help out this pockets fellow. I guess i killed him, he kept coming at me and i punuched him in the jaw and he never got back up, it pissed off some elven woman and she came at me with a dagger... so, i knocked her out but in my strafing i hit this black dood and i was taking out the whole bar

Ya shoulda taunted him first.... Must say, sounds like you took him out a LOT easier than I did: took me several tries. I finally had to taunt, cast a golden saint, run to the balcony in the tavern, and 'arrow' him from there...

Assuming you arn't on XBOX:
Open the console via the ~ key (If you have a non-american keyboard and the ~ doesn't work, try the key to the left of the 1 key). In the console window, enter: "ordinator_mh_stationary"->SetDisposition 60 "ordinator_mh_stationary"->StopCombat Player "ordinator_mh_stationary"->Setfight 30 "ordinator_mournhold"->SetDisposition 60 "ordinator_mournhold"->StopCombat Player "ordinator_mournhold"->Setfight 30 Set WearingOrdinatorUni to 0 This should stop the guys in mournhold from hurting you. You may need to play with the numbers (setdisposition higher and/or setfight lower) |
