Does anyone know the console command to make a NPC non-hostile?

Lets just say I made a small mistake while I was a Vampire and a certain old man with a skooma problem wants to kick my butt when I go to his hovel in Balmora to get new blades orders even though I am no longer a Vampire.

I saved before becoming a Vampire but it took me 3 days of playing to do all the quests and I DO NOT want to redo them.

I know there is a huge list of console commands for Morrowind but I dont know which one I need to use.

I will be grateful for any help you can give me.

I believe there's no console command for such thing but you can use the spell " calm humanoid " on that hostile person.

GAWD 3 days of playing down the drain Thats a bug they really need to fix.

How about a very strong Charm Humanoid kinda spell? Or do a soultrap on yourself with Charm. Just a thought.

What exactly is the bug? This looks to be more of a PEBCAK error than anything. Vampireism is bad, don't talk to anyone important while you have it. There is a way to win the main quest anyway, but you miss most of it.

Anyway, try the following:
"Cauis cosades"->SetFight 30
And if that doesn't work do it and:
"Cauis cosades"->moddisposition

Its works for most of the nasties in the morrowind universe (like Ordinators) so I think it should work for Cauis (assuming I spelled his name correctly).
You probably shouldn't be in the same room as Cauis when you try this.

Look if everyone else returns to normal when your healed so should he. Making someone redo 3 days worth of running around for an honest mistake (I went to sleep normal in his house and woke up as a vampire) is a bit much. I still say its something they overlooked. However thank you for the commands I will try them out later tonight.

The hostile thing wouldn't happen if you didn't talk to any npc when you are a vampire.

isn't he supposed to attack on sight? I mean, when I was a vampire, I couldn't walk an inch without being attacked..
