Hey everybody. Thought I share this site for anyone who needs lessons on how to use the editor. I wanted to know so I did my search and one of the sites I came up with is these:

http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/tamriel/tutorials/
http://www.burgoyne.com/pages/sbfish...faq.html#faq17

TIP: If you have a question, its also a great idea to ask someone who has made what you too are trying to achieve. Just go to a mod (plug-in) library database site, find a mod, and click on the author's email address if there is one. Usually that person will reply back with an answer to your question. That's how I got some of my pressing questions answered. Just remember to ask nicely.

BTW if anyone has a link or editing tips to share, please feel free to do so. the more the merrier.

There are some cracking links stickied in the modding section of the elderscrolls website forum. Look under General TES Construction Set or Morrowind Mods sections.

They have some really useful information, with links to texturing by Q3 Arena guys that make clever stuff in photoshop seem simple. Even to me, and that's saying something.

EDIT: Also, check out the links section from TheLys' site, which has some excellent tutorials on most aspects of modding for Morrowind.

Thanks for the tips. I've completely avoided the Construction CD just because it looked to forgein and complex, and I didn't want to take the time to try and figure it all out. The tutorial makes it look fairly straight forward though so I'll have to go and play with it a bit. Thanks again for your links.

Great idea Kakero! I had been thinking that myself. My thoughts are that I'll be playing this game for awhile and yeah I saw your post asking about our thoughts on a new ES4. I too hope for that. Just hope that it will be somewhat similar in interface as ES3. Man, I love this game. I had it on the Xbox and I just had to replay on the PC.

So how about Mr Ziroc. Can you please make this topic a sticky because I know there are others who would want to know how to edit there own game and DANG! it was sorta hard finding tutorials. Thanks very much for your consideration.

If anyone is intersted in modding, then I would suggest starting with Dragonsong's tutorials. They're very easy to assimilate, and should have you up and running in no time at all. That's where I started, because like you canadianvixen, the wretched thing looked too unpleasant to contemplate!

Speaking of sticky's, would it be a bad idea to create a thread where in everyone could post a link to his/her favourite mods/plugins ? And i don't mean a link to the site where it's from, but a direct link to the mod/plugin.

Some usefull things might come forward that way, and we can all share it if so desired. I know some people are making their own mods, so by all means, post them here, so we can check it out.

Good idea ? Not so good ? Make it public.

Ooooohhhh I like that idea! We could have one thread dedicated to favorite mod's and give a brief description with the link to the download site. Awesome idea Johnny. It would save hunting through several theads that have been started, or on the off chance you have to start your game over and you can't find the mods you had....
