Just what was this place, it was marked on my map for a mage guild mission wear i had to head toward it, then go to 2 near by towns, but i stopped off there and went inside, and they all attacked my, so i killed the lot of them, and made alot of money in the progress.. but what was that place, and why did they attack me??

nothing important, they attack you because you disturb their privacy. [img]smile.gif[/img]

also a lot of place in Morrowind is like that, the people inside any ruins will attack you.

They were probably bandits using Marandus as their hideout. Bandits aren`t too privy to having tourists in their hideouts. [img]smile.gif[/img]

They got overexcited because there are rumors someone in the fighter's guild of Balmora wants them dead...

As to the place Marandus is an old Dunmer stronghold, like many others spread across Vvardenfell

thats ok then, i thought it might have had links to one of the great houses, as i havnt joined them yet, what i thought it was, was something to do with the rivals to the theives guild, so i had no plans to join them, so i happily slaughtered them.

yeah ive been to every one and the only stronghold worth while is rotheran
