Ald'ruhn Mage Guild Quest (possible spoilers)

Can anyone tell me where the blueprints are? I've gone through every room and killed every orc in the place. I've checked all the shelves, steel kegs, crates, and chests. The closest thing I found to blueprints was a book called "The Egg of Time" worth 1000. But when I took it back to Edwinna she just kept asking for the blueprints and asked if I lost them on the way.

Um. I take it you did the quest to get the progress report from that chap and his daughter in the dwarven place? And found the body downstairs ok? Then got sent on to another dwarven place? If so, they are on a table - or shelf. Use Nighteye or a torch or lamp. It is easy to miss stuff without good lighting.

Hang on to the Egg of Time. It is part of a sorta side activity that is fairly interesting to do. Take it to the chap downstairs in the Fighters Guild in Balmora for more info.

You're right, I did finish the first quest with the chap and his daughter took that back to Edwinna and she sent me to Mzuleft. I'll go back and double check all the shelves, and then talk to a man about a book in Balmorra. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I think i had the same problem, is this in one of those dwemer ruins ? I never did find those blueprints and never finished that quest. Let me know when you found them please ?

Take the book to Baldras D something or other on Gnisis .... relates to a huge quest for Telvani and Trebonius.

@ Johnny It was just a single piece of paper on a shelf. I had left it there thinking it was just a worthless piece of papers since it said "plans" and not blueprints. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I took the book to Balmorra but there was no option to talk to the gentleman in the Mages Guild there about it. On further inspection of your last post, maybe I should try talking to someone in Gnisis? That's where I've just been sent to get yet another set of blueprints from the Bethamez ruins at the Gnisis eggmine. Wish me luck. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Did you talk to Edwinna about the Egg of Time? She should have the topic in her list. Maybe that triggers it. Talk about it to anyone who has it in the topic list. Should get SOMETHING. Then try the fighters guild man again. The one in the room downstairs on the right past the bedroom. Not the woman.
Ahhh... you need to have the book in your inventory for the topic to come up I think.

I didn't do that quest. I got the second book, though, and the legless guy's promised to translate it. I wondered where to get the quest.

Edwinna doesn't have anything, nor anyone else in Ald'ruhn. No one in Balmorra. Maybe since it's a Telavanni quest and I'm not a member of their guild I'm not getting the option to talk about it with anyone? I'm not sure. I'm going to go help another fighter in Vas and get rid of some necromancer's but I'll keep the book(s)(there's been other 1000 books as I've gone to the other ruins) in a safe place in case it comes up.

The Egg Of Time book I believe is for a Mages Quest - The Disappearance of the Dwarves. Trebonius Artiorius gives this quest, I think his at Vivec Mages Guild. You need that book and two others to find out what happened to the Dwarfs.
