No new duties in Mage Guild

Hello, I have become a magician in mages guild. Now I can get any new duties so that I can advance. Everyone says "i have no more duties for you but try...." In sadrith mora skink says he is busy mixing a detect creature potion for Edwinna in Ald Ruhn. So, what should I do? The last one to give any duties was Edwinna. Anyway, any help is appreciated. Oh, one person gives me duties, Trebonius, but the are OTT and I ignore them.

Well, maybe you should do them anyway. In the beginning they had me doing stupid things too, like picking flowers and searching for mushrooms. I did them anyway.

Thanx for the tip, but I tried it yesterday and that topic does not appear. Only thing he gives to do is to find out why the dwarves or the elfs or something disapeared. So, still do not know what to do? The one in Balmora that gave you your first missions said that she has more missions once I reach the next level, I am magician now. But I can not advance there. Hm. Have you clicked on 'duties' in Ajira's conversation topics? She ought to go on to tell you some secrets; she has two, one to get a Staff and one to get a Ring, both useful items. But maybe you still have to be a Warlock for her to tell you about them...
Have you been to ALL the Mage guilds and done ALL the duties? I assume you have your Wizards staff if you are a Magician? You have to have that WITH you, I think, to trigger the ARCH MAGE topic with Trebonius. Might be worth talking to Edwinna at Ald Ruhn about Trebonius, too, in case that is the trigger.

> For Trebonius' quest to find out why the Dwarves Disappeared you have to find 3 books. They can be found in 3 of the Dwarven Ruins that Edwina asked you to check out. You then have to find a translator to tell you what is contained in the books. He may be found in the Wizards Tower in Gnisis. Once you have this done you must go back to Trebonius and report. One of the books is called the Egg of Time, another is called Hanging Gardens but I forget what the third is called. Good luck!!

Here is a list of everyone who gives you quests
Ajira (Balmora), Ranis(Balmora), Edwinna(Ald-ruhn), Skink(Sadrith-Mora), and finally Trebonius.
You don't have to Trebonius's quests, but they do raise your reputation quite a bit. And for Skink, when he says he is making a potion for Edwinna or whatever, all you need to do is wait a while then go back and ask him.
But if you've done all the quests in Balmora, and Ald-ruhn and a few for Skink, you will be high enough to challenge Trebonius, and if you have a good weapon, it shouldn't be too hard to kill him

skink offers the quests that raise you quickly, you need to go take the creature potion from whoever is making it for him, they are in sadrith mora somewhere, cant remember the name though, once you help them and get back to skink then you get lots of quests with him which raise you quickly.

Erm..... it's Edwinna gives you the quest to get the detect creature potion from Skink. After she gives the quest, you get the potion from him. Easy.
