How do I install a mod into this game?

I,m new to this game and i haven't got a clue.
Can anybody help?

Okay, here goes...

First of all, make sure that the mod file is "*.esp". if it is zipped (*.zip), then please unzip the file first.

copy/move the ESP file to the /morrowind/data folder. Any sub folder used by the plug-in should also go into this folder. For example, if the file was unzipped and you have test.esp and also a folder names test. Copy both test.esp and also the folder [test] into the /morrowind/data.

If Windows ask you to replace an existing folder, this means that there is already a sub folder with the same name. Please DO NOT replace any existing folder. But instead, move the new files from the new folder into the existing one.

Okay, once all these are taken care of:

Execute the game via the Morrowind launcher and click on the "data Files" option.

Check (X) the box next to the new plug-in file and then click ok.

The game will now be loaded with the new plug-in in active.
