Game to slow!

The game runs to slow for me. What should I do?

Windows XP
Rage 16-bit 128 Video Card
Dell Dimension 4400

There are two tweaks out on the net that should help you out. Also go get the official patch.

PC Game magazine had an article in the August issue that addresses this. You need the NOCD crack code and it is amazing how much faster the game runs. You can find it by searching the Net however, I also found something to do with copying the Video file from the CD to your hard drive to make it work.

The video card is also a big bottleneck for your system. You can't skimp in that area if you want to play the latest 3D games.

I downloaded the NOCD tweak (tweak 2) and it said I didn't have the right permissions or some garbage. Anyways...Ill give the other tweak a try and see what happens.

My game runs great at 1024X768 or even higher, SPecs:

WinME (wish I could play on linux!), 512 MB DDR AMD Athlon 1800 XP, nVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200 (128 MB DDR)

I run all the pixel shading, realtime shadows, etc... although I have noticed the shadow calcs are a bit off, hell I can even see shadows on the cieling when someone walk on the floor above me, even if the material is completely solid!?!?! So it needs a little work, but I still Love it!
