Since I had never heard of it before, I am assuming it is some sorta "Shadow Keeper" item...that you create, but I may be wrong.

Actaully I came across the item in the game but I do not recall just where. I do recall that I put it on Minsc....Bad choice !

I put it on Shar Teel and never regreted it for a second
 I think the only time the helm is in the game is on the first floor of Durlag's tower, when Demonknight appears, he is wearing it. |

Dosen't affect neutral characters, I'd still like to know if it's possible to get your hand's on it without cheating though >>

I heard that if you cast ORS on him when he is on th efirst floor, attack him with your fists and when the sphere disipates you will be able to kill ham and get the helm. I never confirmed it, so it is just a rumor.
