SW2H08 - Durlag's Pride is a two-handed sword +2, it is in the items file, it can be used, but I can't seem to find it / receive it in the game.

So there: I'd like to ask anyone currently in or about Durlag's Tower to keep an eye out for it and to try to manipulate the 'statue' of Durlag's Pride to see if anything can be done.

This is strange, but I don't think you can get otherwise then by using an editor. You should be able to talk to the sword (a talk-icon appears), but you can never get close enough to *actually* talk with it...
But then again: there are so many other items in the files that aren't actually in the game (like Club +1, +3, Scimitar +1, Helmet of Charm Protection, Studded Leather +2 of Missile Attraction, Helm of Opposite Alignment - need I go on?).

I´ve tried dispelling its magic but nothing can be done. I´ve even summoned monsters just beside the statue, and ordered them to attack it, but they didn´t move. It is magic resistant too (tried with wands).
Maybe it´s here to see a very large sword talking.

To clear this up - some unlikely items can be found in the game, and there's always a chance but I do have my doubts about this one, too.
Still - the 'talking sword' is a creature called DURSWORD.CRE while the item is SW2H08.itm. They are definitely two different things.
My guess is that since Durlag's Pride is +2 (even though its description says +1), they've left it out for the World's Edge (+3).

Maybe, but it it one handed +2 or 2 handed? +2 one handed means a shield...

Tried a few things, got some more ideas & will try them. Let you know.

Durlag's Pride is a two-handed sword +2 (the text says it's +1 but that's wrong.)
