crypt

ok, i have gotten to the part in the first crypt, one of the quests in valia. i killed the spirit of the warrior and the spirit of the wizard i used a crystal key to raise the stairs to the flaming bit at the top to get the runed idol. but then when i try to use the other key in the spirit of the warriors room the key wont work on those stairs, they wont raise to the other flaming bit. what have i done wrong? shoudl i just forget it and go to the forked pathway that is later on in the crypt?

It's a one deal thing only - you either chose the wizard path or the warrior path. There is no big advantage - you will only be able to select one of the forked pathways (the wizardry path by the sounds). The trials are similar, the treasure is similar, the frustration is similar. Good Luck

so it looks like ot me that by the runed doll i picked i have to go the path of the wizard

I have heard of one patient person who stacked chests or crates to get up to the other figure (since both ways have treasure) but you can bet it wasn't me. Although if you had to revisit the Crypt for anything and had the patience it might be fun.
