If you mean 'is it ok to use a TeamBG image here'--as in linking to the image, I would say no. now I personally don't mind, but that isn't nice to do. It's stealing bandwidth from TeamBG. Everytime someone loads a thread with a post from you in it, and calls that Image, it takes some bandwidth from TeamBG.

Ask Ken to see if it's ok.. I personally don't allow anyone using our images on other forums--eats OUR bandwidth. If I were you, I'd get one of those free websites and upload those images to that site, then call them from that site.. (SOME free sites don't allow this--angelfire and geocities are 2)..

Just my 2 cents..

If you see a portrait that you like on the net, it's usually a good idea to ask the artist if they are ok with it. If you can't work out who the artist is, it's usually ok, but upload the pic to your own site so that you're not calling it from the original site (as Z said it uses up bandwidth and costs money for the other site). You can use other portraits if they are on the internet and there is no advice stating that they CANNOT be used, as long as you don't benefit commercially.

And if the owner appears and asks you to stop for any reason, then obey of course.

With double posting do you mean if you post an answer twice (doh!). Because that can happen by accident. I don't know why but that happens to me sometimes.
