I had some killer armor i looted off dead drow in the underdark..I came to the surface and it all turned to Adamintine dust...any way to prevent this? that drow aromor +5 rocked

Nope, sorry...the thing about drow armour and weapons is that they're useless in sunlight, if you really want it though, I guess you can cheat somehow [img]smile.gif[/img]

i think my last game was a one off bug cos i had drow equip in my bag of holding and wen i went to see if it was dust it wasnt so i had +5 armoyr for my thief!!

If you search the message boards, this has been discussed recently.
There are a couple of work arounds - and yes one of them did involve the bag of holding  .Hope you find it - post again if you don't and I'll try and find it for you.

I have this from a friend of mine... I haven't tried it myself, but it's interesting... see if it works for you:
Right before you leave the underdark, give all your Drow equipment to another party member, and then kick them out of the party, saying you'll meet them elsewhere later (He did this with Jahiera... I don't know if the bug is Jahiera specific or not). They'll leave, you fight your way out of the underdark, go through the foo with the elves, and then head back to the city where you meet up with said party member again... and they have all the stuff, miraculously intact. Like I said, I haven't done it myself, but my friend swears by this work-around. Good luck!
