I found the secret entrance to Mekrath's lair and entered it, but there's no Haer'Dalis or Mekrath. Granted, I took this mission 15 days prior to my current attempt at completing it. Does that matter? Has the wizard killed him by now? I didn't think there were any time constraints.
Could this be a bug? |

Hmm, from your words I take it you accepted the quest from Raelis in the playhouse to free Haer' Daelis, right? So that's not it...
Note there are more secret entrances from the Sewers, but I take that's not it either... Hmm, when you enter his lair, you should head south, not west, in case that happened here. Makreth should be waiting at the end of a winding road. Else it's indeed a bug, cause it's certainly not a time related quest. ------------------ Not a member of any clan and is cool with that.
