Erm, no Bhall powers

I'm paying as a half-orc cleric of lathanda and I don't have any of my Bhall powers. I don't really need em, just curious about why I ain't got them.

first fo all why are you making a halforc clearic? nothing wrong with that, I'v actually never tried just seemed odd to me. Anyway about your question I dont know, where are you in the game? you dont start with any, but gain them as you go thru the game.

But you DO start with some innate abilities.

I've normally had innate abiliy to cast fear, that drain spell and some other one. That was with fighters, paladins and mages. Oh yeah, if yu have a half-orc cleric of lathanda they can fight amazingly well. You don't really need to a fighter. just Give them a Hammer and he'll kill all who get in his way. Also holy smite can kill quite well. You should try it. I didn't think it would be too great butit is.

I thought that the lalochs drain, cast fear where bhall power. I ain't got the slayer change from asylum yet. Won't use it anyway. I'm a good cleric.

Those are for evil characters. Good characters get healing and remove fear.

PS - just for future reference, when you are revealing a plot twist in the game (your asylum comment), it's courtesy to put a spoiler tag before it to let people know. Thanks.

in bg1 you gained a bhaal power during dreams in between chapters. the powers themselves were and are alignment dependent.

cure light wounds, horror, slow poison, larloch's minor drain, vampiric touch, draw upon holy might, etc.

you SHOULD start the game with at least 3 of these and some combination of per/day of 6. if you didnt . you can always use SK to give them. holy might was the best of em imo, though slow poison occassionally was useful.
