I downloaded some custom items recently, and installed them to my Overide folder, how come they don't show in the game or shadowkeeper?

Not sure why they don't show up in ShadowKeeper, but you have to CLUA them into the game, they won't magically appear in shops or so.

Custom items are not part of the game if you simply put them in the override folder. They can be added to the game via CLUAConsole, yes, but won't show in Shadowkeeper. Do you have the IEEP from TeamBG? If so, then use the Infinity Add-On Patcher and choose "export a new IAP file", add the files you want put into the game, create the IAP file, then import the IAP file. Now the custom items will show up in Shadowkeeper--you can add them to your inventory there--but you'd still have to use CLUAConsole to bring the items into the game. Hope this helps! I made my own items and put them in Override folder and used Shadowkeeper to add them to my character. It worked on me.

quote: If you make your own items using IEEP and use them in your game using the override folder you will be able to see the text for the item. This won't work if you're downloading a custom item from the internet, since all text for the game is stored in the dialog.tlk file, which is not in the override folder. Practically all items available on the net use the .tbg format. You need to use use IEEP or a similar tool to import those. Get them from www.teambg.com. |
