I was doing the Umar Hills quest and killed the shadow dragon, when i returned to amn, i found that the shadow dragon scales had dissapeared, i was wondering if anny one else had this problem and what armour can be made from them. Also is there anny way i can regain the scales without killing another dragon

Dont worry about it so much shadow dragon's mail is not so good. It's just a AC1 armor (like ANY full plate mail) and the only speciality of the armor is %50 resistance to acid and also you cant wear any +1 protection items with this armor. Red Dragon Scale is much better.

One thing I should point out about the Black Dragon Scale armor. It's great for a Ranger! My Ranger is an Archer and as such is limited to leather armor. This coupled with dex=18 puts his armor class at -3. It may not be the greatest armor in the game, but it has it's uses. A thief can also use it.

I agree with Sir Taliesin, it's quite useful for a thief or a bard or a ranger. If it's gone, then use shadowkeeper. If you happen to find the scales anyway,

I agree, Black Dragon scales, are good for a thief. Forget the acid protection, but A thief needs good Armor, studded leather just doesn't cut it. Tho, Nights gift, and there isanother armor that is good for thieves. Can't remember tho.

Oh ok it's GREAT for stalkers and thieves. But there's only 1 pure thief in the game: Yoshimatsu. When Jan and Imo wear it they lose their spells.

no dragon armors? the red dragon scale is one of the best armors in the game? Most parties have more than 1 character that can use metal armor and I just don't see multiple suits that are better than the red dragon scales...
