BIG a$$ bug! ...Help!

Current quest: Vampire lair located in the graveyard.
During my fight to rid the vamps from their nest I have run into a big bug. After killing off the vamps and finally meeting, Lassal, I had, Nalia, shoot him with a acid arrow before he dissapeared into that big pit area with all the spikes, well, as I was making my way down to him, I noticed he was taking damage from the spell by, Nalia. Before I could get down to him he came back upstairs to confront me, he died and my group and I headed to stake the coffins. Two of vamps coffins were staked but, Lassal's, coffin wouldn't let me stake it, hence I'm stuck and can't move forward in the story. Anyone know what to do?

If I have to start over....aaarrrrrrhhh!!!

There are two possible things.

one : you have to aim very carefully when you try to stake Lassals coffin ( I thought it was the one in the bottem of the room )

two : there went something wrong and you have a bug now...(my advice, try again and dump Nalia and get Jan)
