I'm doing the sewer quest with the unseeing eye and all that. Ok, i got the rift wand together and the unseeing eye attacked and I took him down with the 1 charge on the rift wand then went to the avater for a reward. He had nothing to say and when I clicked on my character who HAD the rift wand, to my dismay the wand was gone:O!!! What did I do wrong?

Jeez, sounds like you got bugged somehow. There is a scripted sequence that is supposed to happen when you return to the Temple, and you automatically brought inside. I hate to say it but, you'll have to reload...

the wand is supposed to be gone, only one charge and you have to kill the beholder with it. Then you go back to the people outside the temple and tell 'em what you did, at which point the avatar makes an appearance outside the temple...
