So you played this massive game three times through, unfortunately you used a walkthrough for two times. Perhaps you wouldn't have got bored so quickly had you tried to discover things for yourself.

I would suggest not cheating, and if that is still boring stop playing the game. I know when I get bored with something I usually stop doing it because boring things are not fun. If you aren't in to quiting due to ruination of the game, try putting the difficulty at its highest, then you'd have to fight your way through all the areas you read about.

Or solo with a pure thief like me. Not dying every two minutes is the key.

Personally I've played the game through lots-multiplayer,and in single player mode with most of the different classes as my main character. I've also tried it on varying difficulty levels and I still love it.
Every encounter can be tackled in a million different ways and its more fun if you try new ways of beating things. You dont have to play the same quests all the time and you can experiment with different NPCs and so on. Variety is the spice of life as they say. If you still find it dull and easy go to the beholder city or the illithid city crank the difficulty up to hard, throw away your claok of reflection and try that. THAT is hard. |

If you get bored with BG2, go back and play BG1 (if you have it). The game seems completely different, and isn't as thrilling. By the time you finish one game, you'll want to play BG2 again.

Played both BG1 and BG2 sin singleplayer mode, with a “standardparty“(a thief, a priest, a couple of handy fighters, a mage)and I must say that I never found BG2 nearly as challangeing and fun as BG1. I think there was too little exploration and no chances for just a simple killspree if you felt like it. I tend to *love* games with great variation.
BG2 was a little too much following the main quest all the time. I never cared to buy Throne of Bhaal, that disappointed I felt. I've played a lot of RPG in my life and if I'm not getting too old for this, I would say the great variation in BG1 made that the best game ever created. I know BG2 should have better support for playing evil charachters but that doesn't have to spoil all the fun, doesn't it? ------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------- The manual said the program required Windows 95 or better, so I installed Linux ------------------------------------------------------------- |
