Well i think they do it that way so you know what youre in for.... and simplicity. They have enough details to worry about so if they can find a shortcut I cant blame them at all. Its got to be a pain in the butt to have to add every little detail in every area. I think they did a pretty darn good job with the game design.

Yeah, I shouldn't cavil about the detail - just look at the brickwork in Trademeet if you want to see artistry at work.
