I recently decided to re install (To remove all the editing I did to BG2
 ) and play legit (No exp cap remover) but I couldnt uninstall BG2 properly so I deleted the folder, Now I cannot Re install BG2, because my computer still thinks its installed ( now it finally wants to run the uninstall program  )I am running Windows98... Anyone got an idea how to fix my little problem? ------------------ Make War not Love, War lasts longer. |

try removing all files for the game out of the reg

Well next time do a proper uninstall hehe...loads of ppl have had this problem....a nice utility called Uninstaller from McAffee helps....it finds all the registry entries to do with applications for you....otherwise do as suggested above.

Kittygal: Be very careful when messing with the registry. One wrong move and CRASH!!!! Make a back up first.
To others: the poster is probably not familiar with the arcane art of tinkering with the registry (neither do I. I only know that it's rocket science). Perhaps someone could post detailed instructions? |
