Bastard Swords

This might be a stupid question, but is there a better bastard sword then bastard sword +2???? if not why not and can anyone with imagination and experience make me one???

the field is pretty thin at bastard sword.

iirc there is a +3 that does fire damage and one similar to valgyr's blade.

There's this one -

Blade of Searing, Bastard Sword +3
The benefits inherent in this sword are plain to see; it is exceptionally accurate, and a lick of flame follows every blow, searing the target in addition to the normal damage received. It is an efficient troll-killer, though it has not yet been heralded as such in song or legend.

hmmmmmmm, damn hang ona few for that, in fact can I get back to you on that, like tomorrow, got to think on this one a while, but I know I would like 5% mr, and 20 against md, and ac of -1, a +4 sword at that and a high shine on the hilt, black preferably, other then that I dont know, also the handle if you seen one would look much like the handle of the sword that kid used in The Three Musketeers, with a hand guard

I think he means an extra +3, as in +4 normal, +7 vs. evil.

Or maybe he doesn't. Would be an interesting sword to write a history for....blessed by an evil god, aybe, to smite good.
