I like the mana bow the best. good magic resistance and enchantments.

heartseeker is crap. the only good thing is that improved accuracy for a short time (too short if you ask me).

I sorta like the Mana Bow. I've forgotten if there was a better longbow in the game actually, but I'm sure there was. The Heartseeker's bonus issint that great, IMHO. The +7 doesnt make a great deal of difference, not that I can see.

Why?

erm, gesen doesn't require ammo (and yes the heatseeker is deadly, since it can take critters that require +4 or more...)

How can anything but Gesen's Bow be considered +4 for determining what it can hit? It is the arrows that count, and there are only +2 arrows (piercing arrows are still considered +2 for what they can hit). I tried Heartseeker with every type of arrow (even a couple of detonation arrows I found) against Kangaxx, and it wouldn't scratch him.

why only LONGbow ?

Mazzy with Tansheron's Bow +3 (shortbow) rules ...
less creatures (clay golem) can stand it

edit: doesnt need ammo, 'uses' arrows+3
