When I have some proficiency points spent say 2 points in "long swords", I found that after dueling to a new class, all proficiency points are cleared. Will those points be back after I re-gain the abilities of the previous class?
Also can someone make me clear on the following cases? 1. What if I put also 2 points in "long sword" of the new class? How many it will be when the previous class (assuming fighter class here) re-gained? 4 hopefully? 2. What if previous class's proficiency points are max by 2 only, like ranger? And 2 points in the new class would result in 2 (ie. wasted 2 points), or 4? Sorry for my bad English but hope you understand what I'm talking... ![]() |

Yeah you got them back when you regain your abilities, BUT they arent added to the new ones. If you are a ranger with ** in maces, and you dual to cleric putting * in maces, when you regain your abilities you will have only **. The same goes for fighters and any class.
