When I imported my character from BG/TOTSC I was very depressed to see that the depiction of my character had turned from "Bold and Beautiful" to "Dull and Dumpy"! This *is* fantasy right?

And I want to be a fighting Goddess!

The portraits are fine, but those other illustrations are bad! Even Jahiera looks fat! And it's unfair because the guys look fine all dressed up in their armor, put that same armor on a girl and she looks like "Frowsy Kate".

??do those pictures I'm talking about have a proper name???

I think they called avatars, i'm not sure, but i agree, those "pictures" do look kinda ...shitty, especially for the human female ones...haha so fat (sortof, and no insult to anyone, sorry).

I never noticed Jaheira looking 'fat'but her armour definitely looks too big for her.I dont like the 'paper doll' Elves (look too mean),and even the female gnomes/dwarves have beards!
If you have 'shadowkeeper' you can change the appearance/animation of your actual character. My Fighter/mage/thief(elf),now looks like a human mage.
I think you can download 'shadowkeeper' from www.TeamBG.com ,it's very easy to install and using it couldn't be easier.

I kind of wonder about the paper dolls too. My character has a fantastic portrait and great animations but the paper doll looks like some pixelated mspaint drawing done with the left hand.

There have been universal complaints about the paper dolls in BG2. Everyone seems to like the BG1 dolls better.
