Can anyone recommend a site where I can download some new character voices. I have never been thrilled with those in the game.

Try teambg, sorry, no link, but that's the name of the site. You could spend an hour going through all the stuff there that's available for download.

IR, try this place too. I made a set of my own recordings for my pc in BG2 and one in IWD (for a multiplay game) and had a blast, but there are dl files for sounds here too. Memnoch gave me this site:
