Backstab a dragon? No I don't think that's possible. I only found one bag of holdings in the game, and it is in the same location as you've found.

according to shadow keeper there is only one in the game. whenever i try to use shadowkeeper to give more than one both bags have the same contents. in other words they are the same bag. if you put something in one , it shows in both and vise versa. i did make a copy of the bag of holding with another filename. but i havent tried using it yet. but it seems that the numbers of : bag of holding, gem bags, and scroll cases, are limited by how many different files of each type the game has on record.
? did that make any sense?

Yes, you can only have one bag of holding for your whole party. You're right, that can carry so many items. It would be great if each party member could have their own.

To add to that question - I have only ever been able to get 2 gem bags and 2 scroll cases. Is that all you get of those as well? A third scroll case would be VERY handy! If anyone knows where and when you can get another, please let me know!

Yes, another scroll case would be fabulous. I only have 2 but a third would be spectacular. Anyone know if you can get more than 2? I'm going to have to start simplifying my scrolls yet again it seems...

I think that I had a third, was running a combo of Jan, Aerie, Imoen, Jaheira, Minsc, and my Monk. I don't remember where the third case came from, though. Sorry, it's been awhile since I first finished the game.

Hee! My third party needed no scroll cases (although I kept noe for the odd couple). My Sorceror was accompanied by Jan, Imoen and Aerie - as fast as I got scrolls, I used them up

after the slaver quest in the copper coronet. bernard sells one. you can also get one from the store in maevers guild.
seems like the theives guild black market shop has one.
there's a couple more i cant remember. i think adventurers market. and the guy above the 7vales in the promonade

I currently have three scroll cases and three gem bags - the trouble is I can't remember where I got them.

I think there's a chap in the docks area that has a scroll case - just to the north of the Harpers' house.

I'm fairly sure I got one from the bloke who sells scrolls to the north of the city promenade area.

There may have been one in that place in the promenade that sells all the good stuff (sorry - memory gone - too much Scotch).

There seem to be loads of Gem Bags.

I'm playing a mage - does that make a difference?
