If they are together, how about finding a way to make them jealous of each other, (like offering some magical/priceless treasure that both want, or steal something from one's hoard and frame the other)and get them to fight each other, then cutting loose a large area of effect spell to finish them off. Or how about a wish to Imprison them both? BTW, how did you get into this situation?
