solo inquisitor help

im at the point in the winspear hills/domain of the dragon quest where
i run into a horde of vampires....and im getting smoked.i have restoration
scrolls,but its not doing any good.and my guy keeps saying weapon ineffective
or something...i did kill afew already and no probs...just the last few i cant
hit.im still using the chaos sword +2 and im lvl 17,this is one of the last
quests i still need to do for chapter 2.any help or tips wouldbe great...thanks

I would start with a Protection from Undead scroll. One should help immensely.

If you are discussing the vampires I think you are discussing, there isn't much worth getting in that direction anyway.

doh thanks....i didnt even think about undead protection scrolls,need to
go back to town and get some.

according to the map i have i need to go that way for a chapel key.
any idea why my weapon isnt hitting those last few that are tearing me apart?
worked just fine on the other ones...and their info tag just says vampire.same
as the others.i tried to use my dispell ability,but didnt seem to do anything.
prolly cause i died too fast to even notice if it worked.

But can he use the scroll though? He is soloing with a paladin, right?

yeah im soloing with the inquisitor paladin kit.
as far as i know i can use any of the green protection scrolls...not positive
tho.

i searched through all the posts about solo play..nothing really on using a
paladin or any of its kits.anyone else complete the game with this class?any
tips would be great.

Like others have mentioned on another thread, all paladin's kits are very practical. Personally I like undead hunter and cavalier and my first two BG2 games where with these two classes. However, I did not solo as paladin since I always like to have a thief and mage by my side when playing this class.
