Which of the two "noble" families, if either, should I help out in Trademeet? Does one offer a greater benefit than the other (my main character is Chaotic Good but I have Viconia in my party right now and plan to pick Korgan back up later).
Also, does anyone know if NPC stats are always the same? For example, one time I was playing, Cernd had pretty low stats in strength and constitution but this time through he's at 17 strength and 15 constitution. Did my cat "hack" him while I was at work? ------------------ Next time I send some damned fool, I'll go myself... |

Both offer the same, but when you enter the tomb the mayor shows up and offers less money, but would like to have the mantle of Waukeen to prevent further increasment of fighting between the two families. But you have to speak to one of the families fist to get the tomb key.

Thorin is right...you will want to choose the mayor over either of the families, because choosing between the families will start a family feud. You get better rewards by choosing neither, but turning it over to the mayor.

If you turn it to the mayor you will get +1 to reputation and a small amount of gold for your trouble.
If you turn it to either family you will get gold, loot, and watch them slaughter each other (heehee)...well, eventually they might attack your party too. Both will give you exp points, so it is up to you to make the call. ------------------ Long live H22A1!!!!! |

And if you poisoned the druids like my Berserker did, you won't even get the quest because the Mayor tries to kick you out rather than have a meeting. (Note I said "Try" - I left Trademeet a bit uninhabited after that)
