When an opponent has been dire charmed, what does it do and what's the best way to combat them?

Dire charm is a 3rd level (or is it fourth?) mage spell that turns your party members against you. Wear a helmet of charm protection to shield your fighters from it. And also magic resistance can prevent the charming.
Domination (5th level) is similar but the character save vs spells at a higher penalty = therefore giving him/her more chance of being dominated. Then there's Psychotic Domination used by mind flayer.................geez, forget those (even 100 per cent magic resistance wouldn't save you!! ) |
