Phaenre wont give me the fake eggs

Ive come across a problem while trying to complete the quest given by the Silver Dragon. Ive defeated the beholders, illithids, and kuatoa, and gotten the blood (or eyestalk) of each thing. I brought them back to the matron mother and she told me good job..blah blah blah.. then Phaenre told me to return to her apartment. I get there and talk to her but after she tells me that the Matron is going to conjure a demon the conversation just ends..I've tried reinitiating it but to no avail. My question is has anyone else run across this problem and if so how did you solve it?

I can't actually help you but my bloke had to sleep with her. It was either that or admit to being a eunuch, that was never gonna happen and I needed the exercise anyway. Did you tell her what a good Matron she'd make or did you side with the "real Matron" in which case she may have been afraid to divulge her master plan to you.

Incidentally, the Drow are blind as bats. My pasty faced human was stark bollock naked with this dark Elf all night and she never noticed any difference.

Don't forget Charlie, Adalon turned you into a drow wannabe. Even made the important parts larger than actual size to compensate.

I even tried refusing her offer of going against the Matron Mother wherin she attacked me....sort of. That is, an exact duplicate of Phaenre appeared next to the one i had been talking to and attacked me. I killed this Phaenre but THE OTHER ONE WAS STILL THERE. I talked to her and she repeated the same message that she had said before i refused her offer.

Good point, I forgot that turbovee. She got her own eggs sorted out by my bloke....the real ones

WOW! you caught a good bug. Hey see if you can bag em both kinda like a twin fantasy. I need to stop I'm getting out of control.

Seriously, Try reinstalling and make sure you download the patch. This may help. If you have a saved game that's before your encounter try after the reinstall and the patch. Good Luck!

I installed the patch and it seems to have solved the problem.
