Mage stronghold and thief backstabbing

Can someone tell me what happens in the mage stronghold after you complete the cowled wizards tasks. I have morul working for me but nothing else happens. Do I have to do something? Also, I thought id try and kill the knights of soloma or whatever and see what happens. Does anything happen? And do thiefs backstab by hiding in shadows, going behind someone and then attacking, or what. Also, do you have to backstab w/a dagger or can it be and weapon? Thanx

No idea about the mage stronghold, I've never gotten one myself. You're right about backstabbing, and it can be done with any melee weapon the thief can specialise in - short sword, long sword, dagger, etc. I have a little challenge for anyone who plays a thief and is willing to try it; use infinity explorer to grab the script for, say, the rune assassin, then get your main character to use it, and see if s/he can hide in shadows right in front of other people and backstab from any direction. Just a thought.
