Is there a way to permanently charm an animal? is there a way to release charmed animals without getting attacked? I'm starting a beast master character and i don't want to kill my little friends

i don't like to kill the animals i've charmed either. i've always handled it by sending them off before they turn back and remebering not to use the gather party button
